Farmers' Market

The Jamestown Public Market, a weekly farmers' market, runs Saturdays June-October. The 2023 season opens June 10. Market runs from 10 AM to 2 PM and is located in downtown Jamestown. Local farmers, homesteaders, food businesses, prepared food vendors and local craft artisans are invited to apply as a market vendor.

We encourage you to apply at the beginning of our next season, March 2024,

the first market will be June 8th

How Can I Pay for Market Goods?

SPROUTs Program

Youth visiting market can find our SPROUTs tent (look for the yellow tent!) each week and participate in a fun, agriculture focused activity.

​

For each activity, aimed for children 10 and under, young market-goers receive a $2 'SPROUTs Buck' that can be spend on fruits and vegetables.

​

Our vendors accept cash, and some vendors accept credit card at their stand.

​

We also accept Credit/Debit at our Information tent. Look for the green tent! We provide you tokens in increments of $5 that can be spent like cash with all vendors.

​

SNAP/EBT: We also process EBT cards at our Information tent.

​
